The Cooperative’s parent company, the Hawk Group, was organized in 1974 and, over the decades, has spawned a number of subsidiaries that operated successfully in real estate development, investments and active in sales and marketing in several sectors of the economy.

 

For over 25 years, the Hawk Group also owned and operated high-technology contact centers specializing in marketing of products and services in the real estate, manufacturing, construction, hospitality and other sectors.

Several years ago the company began a serious study of a Swiss cooperative operation, the WIR Cooperative, with the plan of bringing a similar operation to the U.S. The effort resulted in the creation of two Hawk Group subsidiaries, the American Trade Cooperative (ATC) and the International Real Estate Equity Xchange (IREEX).
